Snetterton and MSVR welcome visitors this weekend

Monday, July 06 2020

Snetterton opens its gates to day visitors for the MSVR Club Car Championships featuring GT Cup this weekend (11-12 July), following motorsport's successful return to the venue the previous weekend.

Norfolk's famous racing circuit will operate at a reduced capacity as it welcomes MSVR for two days of entertainment on the full-length 300 circuit. A range of hygiene and social distancing measures will be in place to ensure that visits are safe and enjoyable.

This meeting will be headlined by GT Cup's scintillating grid of race-prepared supercars, but there will be a host of other series in action at MSVR's second event since motorsport's resumption.

Other highlights will include the Sports 2000 championship's debut as a full-time MSVR series, plus the 7 Race Series, Porsche Club Championship and Porsche Sprint Challenge GB. The Local Lotus marque joins the line-up for Sunday only with the MSVR Elise Trophy whilst the Champion of Snetterton Heritage Formula Ford race will being the meeting to a close.

In order to comply with guidance from the relevant motorsport authorities, visitors will not be able to access the paddock and pit lane for the time being, and no overnight stays will be permitted until at least the end of July (other than for competitors).
