MCE BSB fans to star in Snetterton Victory Circle celebrations

Thursday, June 30 2016

Snetterton race fans will get closer than ever to the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship next weekend (July 8/9/10) with unparalleled access to the riders in an all-new MCE BSB Victory Circle, allowing spectators to immerse themselves in a vibrant hub of activity at the fifth round of the season.

The Victory Circle will give spectators the chance to get fully involved with all the celebrations and witness all the rider reactions and clashes after both the qualifying sessions and races during the weekend.

The unique experience will also allow fans to interact with the live Eurosport and ITV broadcasts, which traditionally have taken place in the pitlane. As well as the regular pundits, don't be surprised if Matt Roberts and James Haydon seek the fans' eye view!

Snetterton could also see the first Superpole shootout for pole position in Datatag Qualifying this season. The final top nine riders will return to Victory Circle straight after their hot lap to watch with the fans whether they have done enough to claim the top spot.

Access to the paddock is completely free and open to all spectators throughout the weekend and the picturesque Victory Circle is located adjacent to the circuit office as shown on the illustration.

Series Director Stuart Higgs commented: "We are always looking at new ways to give our fans a unique experience at MCE BSB events and we are delighted to announce the new Victory Circle at Snetterton.

"There is no doubt that this will give fans a chance to get closer to the teams and riders than ever before - whether it is shaking hands with the winner or seeing some post race red mist first hand, this new initiative will give fans of all ages the opportunity to get into the heart of the event and get to star in the live TV broadcasts.

"Put simply, the fans make the event and this is the championship's way of bringing them closer than ever before to the riders, the drama and emotion."
