Snetterton next stop for brilliant MCE British Superbike fight

Wednesday, May 06 2015

A huge battle for the 2015 MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship title is shaping up, with four winners in the opening six races as Britain's biggest motor racing series heads to Snetterton 300 on 19-21 June.

With three wins, JG Speedfit Kawasaki's James Ellison carries an eight point advantage over reigning champion Shane 'Shakey' Byrne, who crashed out of the lead at Oulton Park last Sunday following a clash with rival Ryuichi Kiyonari.

Shakey's PBM Kawasaki team-mate Stuart Easton and Tyco BMW challenger Tommy Bridewell took surprise wins at Oulton Park, and are well-placed in the championship chase heading into the Snetterton round.

A truly international field will include over 30 riders from at least eight nations and breathtakingly close racing on the 3-mile circuit.

The Norfolk venue is one of the best spectator venues in the country, and you'll miss none of the action on the track from Snetterton's panoramic viewing banks. In addition to two MCE BSB races, you can also see action from the Motorpoint British Supersport Championship, Pirelli National Superstock 1000 and 600 Championship and British Motostar.

Tickets for the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship at Snetterton 300 on 19-21 June are available from £26, with free entry for under-13s For more information call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
