Lap Snetterton on your bicycle this September!

Thursday, August 29 2013

Fans of Snetterton will have the chance to lap the 300 circuit on a bicycle and raise money for charity on Friday 13 September.

Entry for the evening, which will run from 7.30pm, will cost £10 per adult and competitors are asked to register before the event. Children under 16 can take part for free but must be with a registered and participating adult. Individuals are encouraged to raise at least £50 in sponsorship, and families to raise at least £100. All proceeds will go towards Action for Children's work locally and across the UK.

Action for Children is a charity that supports and speaks out for the UK's most vulnerable and neglected children and young people, for as long as it takes to transform their lives. The charity works directly with more than 250,000 children, young people, parents and carers each year and run more than 650 services across the UK.

Laura Hanratta, Action for Children Partnership Fundraiser for Norfolk, said: "We're looking for cyclists of all ages and abilities to take part in this exciting event at Snetterton. We hope as many people as possible sign up and follow in the tyre tracks of some of the world's most famous racing car drivers."

There will be plenty of free parking at the event, which is free to spectators. Cold drinks, snacks, ice cream and other refreshments will be available during the evening.

Registration forms are available at www.actionforchildren.org.uk/get-involved/events. Alternatively please contact Laura Hanratta on 01284 755953 or Laura.Hanratta@actionforchildren.org.uk
