Important information for visitors to this weekend's BTCC

If you're planning to visit Snetterton this weekend for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, here is some important information about this event to help you make the most of your trip to the circuit.

Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 7:30am on Saturday and 7:30am on Sunday.

All advance sales have now closed and tickets are only available on the gate for the following prices:

Saturday: Adult £13, Senior Citizens £10
Sunday: Adult £31, Senior Citizens £20
Admission on both days is free for children aged 12 and under

Advance ticket holders will need to bring their original tickets to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required. In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to:

Advance ticket holders should separate their tickets before arriving at the gate.

There will be an ATM machine located next to Tyrell's bar and restaurant, which can be found behind the paddock between Palmer and Agostini corners.

Three new grandstands are located by Tyrrell's bar and restaurant, overlooking the infield section, at Bombhole and Murray's corners. Tickets are available at the stands for £5 on Saturday and £16 on Sunday. Availability is limited, especially on Sunday.

TV Screens
Three large screens will be provided around the circuit. These will be located on the outside of Murray's, - viewed from Murrays Grandstand and viewing bank, inside of Bombhole to be viewed from the Bombhole Grandstand, and on the infield at Oggies which can be viewed from Palmers bank and Tyrrells Grandstand.

Official event programmes are on sale from the gate, circuit office and souvenir stand at Murrays for £5. Each programme features in-depth articles on the BTCC along with entry lists and information on the racing timetable.

Weekend Camping
The campsite will open at midday on Friday 2 August and will close on midday on Monday 5 August - please note that there will be no facilities on site after 9pm on Sunday 4 August. Camping is available on the gate for £25 per person, with free entry for children aged 12 and under.

Off track entertainment
Snetterton's new playground by Tyrrell's Restaurant features a motorsport theme and has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14. There are climbing frames, swings and much more.

Bands will entertain the campsite crowds with The Killer Tomatoes playing on Friday evening, and 80-2-90 on Saturday evening. A Bar will be also be located in the campsite and will be available throughout both.

Meanwhile Tyrrell's Bar will be hosting the KX Question Time event with several drivers including Jason Plato, Tom Onslow-Cole and James Kaye, and the chance to win prizes including a set of Dunlop tyres, on Saturday evening, which will be followed by be a disco.

Radio Snetterton 87.7FM
Radio Snetterton will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale from the circuit office and souvenir stand at Murray's for £5.
