750 Motor Club pay the first of two 2011 visits to Snetterton this weekend

Sunday, May 15 2011

The competitors of the 750 Motor Club experience the high-speed thrills of the Snetterton 200 loop this weekend (21/22 May), with a line-up featuring a wide variety of machinery spread across the two days.

There's superb close action in the Stock Hatch Championship for small-capacity hatchbacks, a series heavily populated with the Citroen Saxo, which also features exclusively in the Saxmax Championship.

Toyota's popular mid-engined sports car is the basis for the MR2 Championship, open to all three incarnations in normally-aspirated form, and modified versions compete in the MR2 Super GT Series. Older sports cars can be found in the MG Midget Challenge.

The Kit Car series is open to mass-produced and one-off kits and this weekend races with the Sports Racing & GT Challenge, featuring cars built before 1975. AC Cobras can be seen competing against GT40s, Lotuses, Jaguars, Ginettas, Listers and Porsches. The kit car theme continues with the Ford Crossflow-engined Locost Championship.

Fans of bike-engined cars are well catered for with Bike Sports, featuring sports racing cars powered by 4-stroke motorcycle engines, and the RGB Championship for road-going bike-engined cars.

Single seater action is provided by Formula 4, for F3, FRenault and FFord cars, meanwhile the Volkswagen-engined Formula Vee cars feature in their own race.

Finally there is an Allcomers race for all non-single seater vehicles, covering pretty much everything else!

Tickets for the 750 Motor Club Car Championships at Snetterton are available from £10 for adults with free admission for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or click the link below.
