British Motorcycle Racing Club prepares for Snetterton visit

The first ever bike meeting on the new Snetterton 300 circuit takes place this weekend (26/27 March) as the British Motorcycle Racing Club visits Norfolk for its second event of 2011.

Max Symonds currently leads the way in the MRO Superteens after a superb weekend at Brands Hatch, securing three wins and a second place to lead the championship from Jordan Gilbert. Previous champions in this series include ex-Moto GP Champion Casey Stoner, as well as rising British star Bradley Smith.

The MRO Stock 600 category looks as if it will be a close run affair in 2011, with Dan Fuller and Jimmy Dye both securing wins at Brands Hatch, while Martin Turner secured all three wins in the Super 6 Clubman Cup.

Sidecars will also feature at Snetterton, with Kev Cable and Dan Gower leading the way in the F1 Sidecars with Mick Bleakley and Heath Lane in second. In the F2 category Frank Lelias and Jerome Vannuier head the championship with Marc and Ric Vanniewenhuyse in persuit.

Other categories in action this weekend include Thunderbikes, Supersport 600, Rookie 600s and1000s, Formula 400 and Minitwins.
