Hottrax Bike championships prepared for Snetterton 300 battle

The Snetterton 300 circuit will echo to noise of motorcycles this weekend (18/19 June) when the Hottrax Motorsport Endurance Bike Championships make the trip to Norfolk.

A host of championships featuring a selection of machinery will be on show in a packed schedule of thrilling sprint and gruelling endurance races.

The Sorrymate.com Junior/National Endurance Championship will see bumper grids tackle the challenging Snetterton 300 for a 3 hour battle. Each team will comprise of two riders, who will share a bike to complete the distance. The race will also begin with a Le Mans style start. M&M Racing's Lewis Mason and Robbie Moore lead the National 600cc category after recording three wins already this season. Sweatshop Racing, who have fielded three different rider combinations this season, top the standings in the 1000cc class. Just five points separates Banzai Racing and Sherwood Motorcycles in the Junior 1000cc championship, while Brand Brothers hold a comfortable lead in the 600cc category.

In contrast to the Junior/National Endurance Championship, the Michelin Power Cup will provide action in the form of three sprint races. Bikes from 600cc to 1200cc are eligible for the series, but all entrants must run on Michelin tyres. With three wins on the spin, Mike Dickenson leads the way at the top of the points table in the 1000cc class. The 600cc class is a much closer affair and the lead in the championship could change hands this weekend, with 21 points separating the top-four.

The Hottrax MotoGrande Championships for bikes up to 1000cc will support the meeting, with sprint races, alongside the fast and furious Ducati Desmo Duo Championship.
