750 Motor Club Championships rev-up for Snetterton visit

Monday, July 25 2011

The eclectic grids of the 750 Motor Club visits Snetterton this weekend (30/31 July) for two days of racing on the two-mile 200 circuit.

Saloon car stars of the future will battle it out in the SAXMAX series, a category aimed at 14-17 year olds on their first steps into competitive motorsport.

Powerful single-seaters will also be in action in the form of the 750MC Formula 4 Championship. The series caters for open wheel cars including Formula Three derived machinery as well as Formula Ford Zetec and Duratec.

Further single seater drama will come from the Formula Vee category, which features cars of free design and construction, ensuring huge variety on the grid, and often fantastic racing.

Sports car drama will also come from the 750 Formula Championship, with variety again ensured with many of the cars designed and built by the enthusiasts that race them. Similar machinery will compete in the 750MC Kit Car Championships.

There will be slipstreaming aplenty in the Locost Championship, containing cars based on the popular Caterham design.

Completing the line-up this weekend is the Allcomers Championship, Bike-Sports Championship AB Performance RGB Championship, Stock Hatches and Compact Cup.
