Thrilling racing at Snetterton this Easter Sunday and Monday

Sunday, April 17 2011

There's plenty of racing action at Snetterton this Easter weekend as the British Racing and Sports Car Club's championships make their debut on the stunning new 300 circuit.

The Avon Tyres Caterham Roadsport and Supersport Championships race on both days and feature drivers that have moved up from the beginner's Caterham Academy series. The sportscar theme continues with the prototype-style Sports 2000 Championship, running both Pinto and Duratec class grids.

The screaming Formula Jedis return for their second round of the season and Richard Mitcham will be aiming to continue his Oulton Park form, where he dominated the field.

The weekend is completed with saloon car entertainment. A mouth-watering field of Alfa Romeos celebrate the championship's 30th anniversary as 145s, 156s and GTV battle with Alfasuds and Guilias. Finally, the ever-popular Fiestas provide frantic excitement across four classes.

Tickets for the BRSCC Club Car Championships at Snetterton are available for£13 for adults on the gate with free admission for children aged 12 and under.
