Caterhams set for season finale at Snetterton

Monday, October 18 2010

The British Racing and Sports Car Club visits Snetterton this weekend (23/24 October) for two days of exciting club racing.

Featuring this weekend is the finale of the 2010 Avon Tyres Caterham Roadsport and Supersport championships. Caterham racing is renowned for its dramatic slipstreaming action, and has not failed to disappoint in 2010 with thrills and spills aplenty.

The long straights of the Norfolk circuit should provide enthralling action this weekend, and don't be surprised to see more than three cars abreast on the run down to the Esses!

Further action will be provided by the bike-engined Formula Jedi cars which also end their season at Snetterton. The championship will be decided this weekend, and it couldn't be closer with just four points separating Andrew Dunn and Jack Smith at the top.

Also in action this weekend are the Mighty and Super Mighty Mini Championships, series that offer ideal opportunities for newcomers to get into motorsport.

The Mighty Mini category is an entry-level series, which offers affordable racing, while at the same time providing immensely exciting on track action.

The Super Mighty Minis are a step forward, offering 30% extra power and further adjustments, with the Championship open to drivers with a year or more of motorsport experience.

Completing the line up are races from the BRSCC Porsche Championship, the Itchy Feet BRSCC OSS Championship and the Irish Lights.

Tickets for the British Racing and Sports Car Club on 23/24 October are available from £10 for adults, with free entry for children ages 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
