Snetterton prepared for eclectic mix of racing series this weekend

Sunday, May 23 2010

The British Racing and Sports Car Club visits Norfolk for the second time this season for another exciting weekend (29/30 May) of grass roots racing.

Featuring this weekend is the BRSCC Formula 3 championship, a series that aims to bring modern F3 racing within the financial reach of its members; indeed BRSCC F3 only requires around 15% of the budget required for a full season in British F3, yet still produces thrilling racing and an ideal platform for racers on a budget to demonstrate their talents.

Also competing this weekend is the Itchy Feet Open Sportscar Series for Le Mans style prototype sports cars.

At the first round at Silverstone, Josh Fishers Juno V6 won both races after commanding drives, giving him an early championship lead, but fellow front runners Tony Sinclair and Dave Krayem will look to overhaul his lead.

This weekend also see's action from the Snetterton Sprint, a competition open to almost any vehicle from standard road cars right up to single seater racers, in which they race against the clock one at a time.

There will be further action from the BRSCC Porsche Championship for Porsche 924s and Boxters, the Fiat Racing Challenge, Tin Tops, Formula Academy, Dunlop TVR Challenge, Nippon Challenge and MR2 Challenge.

Tickets for the British Racing & Sports Car Club at Snetterton on 29/30 May are available on the gate for £12 for adults, with free entry for children ages 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
